Original Victorian Bell Cloches are used for warming soil prior to sowing seeds and planting out. These cloches conserve warmth, direct rainwater and moisture into the surrounding soil and protect leaves against damage. This encourages stable and healthy growth of seedlings, tender and semi-hardy plants.
